From 2016 - 2020 Ashtag's 'Meet the Stinkers' reduced smoking uptake in the South East regions from 8.4% to 3.8% (a difference of 4.6%) 4.6% of 2.6 bn = £120 million over 2 years, or £60 million per year (which is 15% of the £411 million total annual smoking healthcare cost for the South East)
